Services for Employers
Services COEB provides to employers include, but are not limited to, the following:

Prepare handouts for employees and their families including carrier information, policy number, customer service phone numbers and a brief explanation of benefits, and also the phone number, e-mail address, and fax number of COEB

Attend open enrollment meetings

Provide monthly experience data and comparisons to historical data to the plan manager(s)

If the insurance carrier can provide detailed data by category (hospital, physician, lab & x-ray, etc.), present this data, and include evaluation for unexpected utilization

If the data shows unexpected utilization, perform an investigation and provide the results

Provide a summary of the medical, prescription drug, dental and vision trends of different insurance carriers

Ongoing customer service to employees and their families with questions, claim appeals, etc.

Ongoing customer service to employers with administrative issues and questions as they arise
-
Provide employers with relevant information regarding options for benefit plans for renewals, including projected costs
